The Geelong Chorale is Geelong's foremost chamber choir and has been an integral part of Geelong's cultural life for six decades. The Geelong Chorale celebrated its 60th Anniversary in 2009. It is a section of GAMA (Geelong Association of Music and Art) which also includes The Geelong Musical Society and the Geelong Repertory Theatre Company

The repertoire of the choir encompasses a wide range of styles and periods. Recent performances have included unaccompanied madrigals, Italian opera choruses, Australian part-songs and large scale works, such as Rutter's "Requiem" performed with orchestra. The choir also performs works by contemporary composers, including well known Geelong musician Dr. Malcolm John.

The chorale rehearses every Monday night at St. Luke’s Uniting Church of Australia, which is on the corner of Barrabool and Scenic Roads, Highton, at 7.30pm . We always welcome new members , so if you love to sing and can read a bit of music, please contact us!
