Anne Pilgrim trained in music, music education and performance at the University of Western Australia and the Elder Conservatorium. Her first interest is accompaniment and other forms of joint music making. She has accompanied and conducted choirs such as the Adelaide Choral Society, the Canberra Choral Society, choirs at Flinders, Murdoch, Monash and Deakin Universities and local performing groups in Geelong. She is particularly conscious of the difference between accompanying skills and those needed for performance. She also plays other instruments.
